You should know: This is an interesting recipe. It can be made either in the blender, or shaken individually. Either way, it’s oh so tasty!

Here’s a tip: Plan ahead and freeze your watermelon chunks in advance, and use a little less ice.

Here’s what you need to make it (per blenderful): 1 1/4 cups of seedless (or seeds removed) cubed Watermelon, 6 ounces Tequila, 4 ounces Melon Liquor or Midori, 4 ounces sour mix, Ice

And how to do it: For the blender, well shoot, you need instructions? Ok. throw in the liquids, blend for 10 seconds, then throw in the watermelon and ice and mix up to a minute depending on the strength of your blender.

For the non-blender recipe, try this…I think it’s better than the blender version. Throw in your watermelon chunks into a small glass or large shot glass and squeeze so about 2/3 of the juice is released. Put the juice and the fruit into a cocktail shaker along with 2 ounces tequila, 1 ounce melon liquor or Midori, 2 ounces sour mix and some ice. Shake a few times (don’t kill it) and strain into your margarita glass. When you’re done drinking the margarita, you’re left with some alcohol saturated watermelon!!!

It’s my understanding that some people (in Pennsylvania apparently) like salt on their watermelons….seems so natural to salt the rim of the glass too!

Ok, perhaps it’s a bit unorthodox, but you have to try this one out. I suggest making this in a cocktail shaker, but a blender works too. If you can’t find “43″ then ask your friendly liquor store to order it for you. It’s worth it.

You’re going to experience a spectacular flavor explosion….and you’ll understand why the name “Luscious Licks” Margarita is so well deserved!

Here’s what you need to make it (per blenderful): (Per serving) 1 1/2 ou. “43″, 3/4 ou. Triple Sec, 1ou Sour Mix, 1/3 ou Lime Juice, 3/4 ou creme, Graham Crackers

And how to do it: Combine the ingredients listed above (make sure to add creme or half and half..it’s a requirement) and pour into a margarita glass that’s lined with graham crackers, not salt. (I’m not making this up….Trust me!)

Here’s what you need to make it (per blenderful): Actually, per serving: 1 1/2 ounces expensive Tequila, 1 ounce Grand Marnier or Cointreau; 1 ounce each of freshly squeezed lime and lemon juice; ice.

And how to do it: Sorry, Spike may be the blenderking, but put your blender aside for this one. Even these ingredients are too good for my 3 blenders. Take out our cocktail shaker, pour in the ingredients with a couple of ice cubes and give it 3 or 4 good shakes – nothing more. Pour into a salt rimmed margarita or martini glass. And, as you see so often, “Rinse and Repeat!”
