I used Spike's recipe a few years ago and now my wife will not drink anything but these!

The marmalade is key, but I would also add that fresh fruit is a must as well. The syrup stuff that restaurants use is worthless and a waste of money.

I can't count the number of times I've had people ask me for this recipe.

Thanks Spike.

We've been making Spike's recipe for years. It is everything they say and more.

Our copy of the recipe is the old instructions where you make it by counting. I really think you need to repost the old version. It's funny and makes it fun to make another pitcher at a party.

Thanks for the recipe!

In Seattle, WA you can find Rose's Key Lime Marmalade at Ralph's Grocery Deli on 4th Ave (Near the Cinerama Theatre). A bit pricey, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere else.

I've been making these for years, thanks to you Spike! This year I had a harder time finding the marmalade. The WHOLE FOODS grocery chain had it here in St. Louis, Mo. Perhaps other cities have those types of stores, for example TRADER JOE'S or some like that? This recipe is worth the search!!!! Thanks.

Nope, Didn't think to do that. They were good as made. May try that next time though as they started to burn the innards after awhile. Have you tried them yet?

Neil,

Did you add any additional water to the mix when you made these for over the rocks?

Made your Margaritas last weekend. Very good. Had to order the Lime Marmalade (Rose's Key Lime) off the internet. Found it here in Wisconsin at www.madeinbritainltd.com I only added enough ice to get the Margaritas cold as I like mine on the rocks. Tried them without the Marmalade. Took one taste and added the Marmalade. I was suprised at the difference it makes. Will definately make this recipe again.
